Election Message

Dear fellow citizens of the Village of Bartlett,


I stand before you today humbled and honored to have been a candidate in the recent Trustee elections. While the outcome may not have been in my favor, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all my family members, supporters and my good friend Monty Saiyed who believed in me and placed their trust in me.


I would like to extend a special thanks to Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi, State Senator Cristina Castro, Dupage County Board Members Greg Schwarze & Sadia Gul Covert, Maine Township Trustee Asif Malik, Village of Oakbrook Trustee Suresh Reddy, IAPA/NIAMA, AMVOTE PAC, Desi times and South Asian Journalist Voice for endorsing me and supporting my campaign. A special thanks to my campaign members  Ameer of Makkah Printing and Nouman Khan Azeemi who help me in campaign designing & my good friend Anuja Gupta for organizing my fundraising at her Verandah Retirement Community Club House . Your support has been instrumental in my campaign and I am truly grateful for your contributions. 


I would also like to thank my fellow candidates for their commitment to our community and for engaging in a respectful and informative campaign. Your passion and dedication to our village are inspiring and I am proud to have been a part of this democratic process alongside you.


Finally, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Wayne Democratic Party and its Chair Martin Mcmahon for their unwavering support and guidance throughout my campaign. Your dedication to our community and commitment to promoting democratic values is truly commendable.


Although I may not have been successful in my bid for Village Trustee, I will continue to be a proud resident of the Village of Bartlett and remain committed to serving our community in any way possible. Let us come together to build a stronger and more prosperous future for all of our citizens.

About Me

Welcome to my campaign for Village of Bartlett Trustee in Illinois, USA. As a resident of Bartlett for over 20 years, I am deeply committed to serving and improving our village. With a strong background in community service, seniors’ programs, youth programs and leadership, I am eager to bring my skills and experience to the Trustee position. I believe that with hard work, dedication, and a commitment to listening to the needs of our residents, we can make Bartlett an even better place to live, work, and raise a family. I am eager to work with my mayor of the village, fellow trustees and community to address the important issues facing our village, and I ask for your support in this campaign. Experienced Leadership

  • Worked as a General Manager at Office Depot/OfficeMax retail chains for more than 27 yrs. 

  • Former Secretary for Diversity & Engagement Committee for Hanover Township for two years.

  • Former Program Director for American Association of Retired Asians (AARA), managing Congregate Meals for seniors, partnering with Cook County Age Option & Hanover Township for Women Empowerment & Mental Health.

  • Manager of 60's US Cricket Team 2022 in 60's World Cup Australia &Media Manager for US Under-19 Cricket Team for U-19 World Cup 2006.

  • Youth sports program director & coach for the villages of Glendale Heights & Schaumburg for summer coach camps for cricket.

Fighting for

  • Property tax relief.

  • Promote small business and economic development.

  • Expand Senior, Youth and Family Services.

  • Creation of Mental Health Board.

  • Diversity Programs.
